BW Campers Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2009 and 31-Dec-2012

General
All rates only apply to pre-booked and pre-paid rentals.

Kilometre Rates
All rentals over 14 days are inclusive unlimited kilometres. For rentals between 7 and 14 days there is 250 kms free per day. Any extra kilometres are € 0,35 per kilometre.

Calculator
You can use the calculator to calculate your rental amount. You can put the different options side by side and take the most favourable!

Minimum rental period
7 days. In the high season (June, July and August) minimum rental period 14 days.

Drop off
Must be on the drop off date before 12.00 noon. ate charges will apply if any later drop off occurs.

Late Returns
If the vehicle is kept beyond the rental period without authorization, a penalty of 100% in addition to the normal rental amount will be charged.

Security deposit
With no extra insurance: € 1.000. With CDW insurance: € 1.000 for the exclusions of Overhead Damage, Tires and Glass Damage. With CDW-Plus insurance: nil.
You'll always need to leave a signed credit card imprint for traffic violations, parking tickets and extra kilometres etc.
If you rented a navigation system you'll always need to leave a deposit of € 500,-. This navigation system is not covered by any insurance!
THE DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CC, WE'LL REFUND UPON RETURN TO YOUR CC!

Payment Terms
An initial non refundable deposit will be secured at confirmation of booking. The initial deposit can only be paid by Visa or Master Card. BW Campers accepts Master, Visa, bank transfer, AmEx, Diners and cash. There is no surcharges for transaction. Please note BW Campers do not accept CHEQUES!

Insurance
Standard insurance is fully comprehensive with an excess/liability of € 1.000,- per damage.

Extra Insurance
CDW Insurance Cover € 12, per day. When you take CDW insurance there is no excess/deductible for damage to the camper. There are the following exceptions: Overhead damage (any damage to the camper over the height of 1.85m), tire damage, theft- and window damage. Whenever this happens you are still liable for the excess/deductible of euro 1.000, per incident, so when you take CDW insurance you still need to leave the deposit of  €1.000,.
CDW+ Full Cover Insurance  € 18,- per day. CDW+ insurance covers also the exceptions of the CDW insurance. So you are fully covered. No deposit needed, apart from the credit card imprint for the traffic violations.

Maximum premium
For the CDW and the CDW+ there is a maximum of 60 days to be paid.

Excess/Liability (Deductible)
Without insurance: € 1.000 liability
With CDW+ Full Cover Insurance: nil
With CDW insurance: nil (with some exceptions - Overhead damage (any damage to the camper over the height of 1.85m), tire damage, theft and window damage. Whenever this happens you are still liable for the excess/deductible of euro 1.000, per incident, so when you take CDW insurance you still need to leave the deposit of  €1.000,.)

Exclusions
Regardless what insurance option you take, the GPS navigation system is always excluded from insurance coverage. You'll need to leave a security deposit of € 500 when you rent a navigation system. Also excluded from coverage is theft of the radio/CD player (and the damage to the camper caused by the theft of the radio) when you do not return the removable front of the radio.

Cover
Not covered are negligence and interior damage. A GPS navigation system (when rented as an extra) is not covered.

For Winter Specials
Damage caused by frost is never covered by the insurance. Our campers are not suitable for Wintersport holidays!

Exclusions
Always at renter's expense will be theft of the radio/CD if the removable front is not presented upon return. Excluded even if CDW / CDW+ insurance has been purchased is theft of the renter's belongings and theft/missing of (parts of) the GPS navigation system. Naturally intentional damage is also not covered.

Area
You can travel to all countries in Europe and also to Morocco and Turkey. Belarus is the only country where you are not allowed to go to.

Tax
All prices are exclusive tax. When you rent a camper you'll have to pay 19% tax (VAT) over the total amount.

Cleaning charges
We deliver the camper to you clean and we expect it back fairly clean. If not we'll charge € 100,- cleaning. If a camper is returned with the grey and/or black watertank not emptied we'll charge the cleaning fee anyway regardless of how clean the rest of the camper is!

Drivers
Age: 19-75. Drivers must hold a licence valid for the rental period.

Office and workshop - 1032 KK Amsterdam, Klaprozenweg 61B.

One-way rentals
For a one-way rental the total rental period needs to be at least 14 days. Pick up must always be in Amsterdam. Drop off in other places at  € 1.50 per kilometre. For exact rates for places not listed, contact BW Campers.

Depot Hours
Monday-Thursday 9.00am -5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm, Saturdays 10.00am - 2.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and National Holidays.
Closed between 23 December 2011and 2 January 2012, 11 February till 20 Februari 2012, 6 April till 9 April 2012, 30 April, 25 May till 30 May, 24 December till 26 December 2012, 31 December 2012 and 1 January 2013.

Pick up
Pick up can be Monday-Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm, Saturdays 10.30am - 1.30pm.

Breakdown service
A 24 hour multi-lingual European alarm-service for assistance for any major mechanical problem on all vehicles. All rentals include a substitute vehicle if your motorhome cannot be repaired within 48 hours.

(Airport) transfers
None.

Preparation fee
€ 150,-. This covers first full tank of propane, toilet chemicals and a full tank of diesel. So you do not have to return the camper with full tanks.

Personal kit
Inclusive. This is bedding, (kitchen)utensils, towels etc.

Extra's
An awning is standard equipment on all our campers, as is a bike carrier for minimal 2 bikes. You can rent a GPS navigation system for the total rental period. A complete set of maps of Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the U.K, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic and Scandinavia is included in this GPS navigation system.

Smoking
We kindly request not to smoke in our campers.

Cancellation fee
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
Up till 33 days prior to pick up date: € 250, Within 33 days prior to pick up date: Total rental amount. It is advisable to take a cancellation insurance to cover this risk.

Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.

Liabilities
If the vehicle reserved by you is unavailable for any reason whatsoever, we have the right to substitute an alternative.

Refunds
We regret that no refunds can be made for voluntary downgrades or early returns.

While including the same facilities, some campers may have different layouts to those shown. The information provided on this website is subject to change without notice.

Pets
Pets are allowed without out any extra charges. But the vehicle must be returned absolutely clean. Failing to return the camper in good condition will result in Cleaning Fees being applied.

Terms of booking on this website

Information disclaimer
The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

Liability
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.

Insurance

Amsterdam depot

Amsterdam is a serviced non depot location.

Please Note:
Due to a re-development of the industrial area in Amsterdam North, BW Campers are due to leave the location of Klaprozenweg 61 B in Amsterdam.

The supplier has a new (temporary) depot at Spaarnwouderweg 1151 in Vijfhuizen. Unfortunately there is no office space at this temporary location. This new location takes effect from January 1st 2012. BW Campers can only be visited by appointment. Please make sure that you let the supplier know what time you’ll expect to be at the depot.
For a camper pick up you can take a taxi from the airport (Vijfhuizen is much closer to the airport than Amsterdam) or you can give us a call when you have landed and our staff will collect you from the airport. This airport pick up is only possible when you are actually at the airport between 10h00 and 15h00. Another option for you is to be collected from the railway station SLOTERDIJK, same time limits.

National Holidays
National Holidays in the Netherlands are: 25th, 26th and 27th December, 1st January, 13th April, 30th April, 29th May, 1st June. These dates our office is closed.

Pick up
Pick ups must  be made within the following hours.

Drop off
Must be on the drop off date before 12.00 noon. For unadvised late returns a penalty will be applied.
Drop off outside office hours can be prior arranged, no extra charge.

The Supplier does not service any Airports - please ensure that you arrange to make your own way to the depot on your arrival.
